Support Your Favorite Burro

We have an amazing team of volunteers whom through their tireless dedication and effort make each Burro's experience a positive one. Running a Burro sanctuary is a huge undertaking and is one we take pride in.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with upkeep and care of our residents. 

Seeing a need for positive support of the Oatman Burros, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then and have saved numerous burros, mules, a hinny, miniature horses and a ZDonk from the slaughter pipeline, assisted families in adopting out and help families being able to personally maintain their burros in their homes, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

 We are their voice! It's critical to be prepared to step up for the burros  wherever and whenever they need us.
